Day 9: Black Sea

The first day at sea, I spent most of my time in bed. The scorching sun on the quay before boarding triggered a migraine that was difficult to get rid of.
But I'm really not very active on this, the second day either. I'm glad I loaded up my laptop with some films and series.

Even though I'm not particularly social by nature, it doesn't help that the few common areas on deck are crowded with chain smokers.

It's a strange ship, as I have a kind of ‘bill’ framed in my cabin that describes the cabin's furnishings and cost in Russian (for breaking them, I suppose).
However, most of the items are not even in the cabin, and even though I don't have the most expensive cabin option, I doubt that any of the cabins have anything resembling a minibar.

I often get the impression that we are not moving forward at all, and after checking a GPS app a few times during the day, I can confirm that this is quite close to the truth; we have been moving at a dizzying speed of between 11 and 21 km/h.
However, despite the poor food and low speed, this beats driving through Turkey on the motorway in the scorching sun every day of the week.
